Private Client Financial Management

Personal Bookkeeping for Executives, Founders & Families

As your financial life grows, keeping everything organized can become increasingly complex.

Multiple bank and credit card accounts, investments, properties, private entities, significant assets, and business interests can create a financial picture that takes time and attention to manage.

Acrux Advisory provides discreet, one-on-one personal bookkeeping for executives, founders, business owners, and families who want their financial records organized, maintained, and ready when they need them.

I personally manage each private-client relationship and intentionally work with a limited number of clients at a time.

Personal Bookkeeping, Personally Managed

Your personal finances deserve the same organization and attention you expect from your business.

I provide ongoing personal bookkeeping through QuickBooks Online, creating a clear and organized financial record across the accounts, entities, and activity that make up your financial life.

Every client is different. Some prefer periodic conversations to review spending and financial activity. Others want a more hands-off relationship and simply want to know that their records are being maintained accurately behind the scenes.

Either way, you work directly with me.

I stay familiar with your books, understand how the pieces fit together, and provide the continuity that is difficult to achieve with a high-volume bookkeeping service.

What I Handle

Depending on your financial structure, your personal bookkeeping may include:

  • Bank and credit card reconciliations

  • Income and expense categorization

  • Multiple personal bank accounts

  • Investment and brokerage account activity

  • Transfers between accounts

  • Personal LLC and entity activity

  • Personal and business transaction separation

  • Property-related activity

  • Significant purchases and assets

  • Organized financial reporting

  • Periodic one-on-one financial reviews

  • Year-end organization

  • CPA coordination and tax-ready records

The bookkeeping structure is built around your actual financial life rather than a predefined package.

Getting Started

Every new private-client relationship begins with establishing the bookkeeping structure and bringing your financial records current.

1. Onboarding & QuickBooks Setup

$1,500 Flat Fee

Every engagement begins with onboarding.

I create and configure your QuickBooks Online account, establish the appropriate chart of accounts and bookkeeping structure, connect the necessary financial accounts, and prepare your books for ongoing personal bookkeeping.

Your bank and credit card credentials remain under your control and are connected directly through QuickBooks Online.

Onboarding covers the initial setup of your bookkeeping environment. Prior-period bookkeeping is handled separately.

2. Catch-Up Bookkeeping

Custom Project Fee

Before ongoing monthly bookkeeping begins, I bring your books current through the start of our engagement.

Depending on when we begin working together, this may include the current year to date or, when prior-year tax preparation is still outstanding, the prior year as well.

Catch-up bookkeeping may include transaction categorization, reconciliations, review of multiple accounts and entities, organization of prior-period financial activity, and preparation of financial records needed by your CPA.

Because every client's financial history is different, catch-up bookkeeping is individually scoped and quoted after reviewing your records.

3. Ongoing Bookkeeping

Monthly Engagement

Once your books are current, I personally maintain them going forward.

Your monthly engagement is based on the number of accounts, transaction volume, entities, and overall complexity of your financial activity.

As your financial life evolves — a new account, property, entity, investment, or significant purchase — your bookkeeping evolves with you.

Financial Visibility — When You Want It

Personal bookkeeping should make your life easier, not create another obligation on your calendar.

Some clients appreciate periodic one-on-one conversations to review spending, financial activity, and significant transactions. Others simply want their books maintained and prefer to reach out when they have a question.

Both approaches work.

Financial reviews are available based on your needs and preferred level of involvement.

Organized Throughout the Year. Ready for Your CPA.

One of the greatest benefits of maintaining personal books throughout the year is having organized financial information when tax season arrives.

Rather than reconstructing months of activity at year-end, your financial records are already categorized, reconciled, and organized.

When appropriate, I work directly with your CPA to provide financial reports, answer bookkeeping questions, and help make the year-end handoff as efficient as possible.

If prior-year records need to be organized for tax preparation when we begin working together, I can first bring those books current through the catch-up engagement and then continue maintaining them going forward.

Acrux Advisory does not prepare tax returns. My role is to maintain and organize the underlying financial records so you and your CPA have reliable information when you need it.

Discretion, Trust & Continuity

Personal bookkeeping requires a high level of trust.

I intentionally work with a limited number of private clients so I can remain personally involved in each relationship.

Your books are not passed between a rotating team of bookkeepers.

I work directly with you and, when appropriate, coordinate with your CPA, Executive Assistant, or other professionals involved in your financial administration.

That continuity means I become familiar with your accounts, your financial structure, and how the pieces fit together over time.

This is not a high-volume bookkeeping service. It is a personal, one-on-one relationship.
