📑 Audit Readiness

Audit-Ready Support helps companies prepare for external audits, investor due diligence, and financial reviews by organizing records, reconciling accounts, and creating audit-ready documentation. The service combines practical pre-audit preparation with coordination support to reduce surprises and improve audit efficiency.

📊 Audit Readiness Support

Audit readiness isn’t built when the audit starts — it’s built in the months leading up to it.

Whether you’re preparing for your first audit, strengthening internal controls, or getting ready for investor or lender due diligence, the focus is the same: clean, structured, and reliable financials.

I work directly with companies to organize financial records, reconcile key accounts, and prepare audit-ready documentation. The approach is practical and proactive — reducing last-minute issues and keeping the process moving smoothly.

The result is a more predictable audit process, with fewer adjustments, fewer delays, and greater confidence in your financials.

Our Audit Readiness Support Includes

✅ Organization and preparation of PBC (Prepared by Client) files
✅ Balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
✅ Revenue recognition and ASC 606 alignment
✅ Review and support of accruals and key accounting estimates
✅ Internal control review and process improvement
✅ Preparation of audit-ready documentation and coordination with external auditors

When Audit Readiness Support Is Most Valuable

✅ Preparing for your company’s first annual audit
✅ Completing investor due diligence before a funding round
✅ Responding to bank or lender reporting requirements
✅ Strengthening internal controls before scaling
✅ Navigating construction or long-term project accounting

How Our Process Works

  1. Initial Review: We evaluate your current books and identify key areas that need documentation, reconciliation, or cleanup.

  2. Preparation & Organization: We compile supporting schedules, reconciliations, and documents required for external audit or investor review.

  3. Collaboration & Handoff: We coordinate with your CPA or audit team to streamline requests and ensure a smooth, efficient audit process.

Client’s Responsibilities‼️

Successful audit preparation requires active client participation and collaboration. Acrux Advisory’s work is based entirely on the information, records, and systems you provide. This process can only be completed if client:

  • Provide all required documents and data needed to clean and reconcile books before the audit.

  • Respond promptly and accurately to all questions and document requests.

Acrux Advisory will solely use your company’s data, records, and accounting systems to export information, prepare reports, and organize documentation. Our role is to act as a liaison between your finance team and the external audit team — preparing and delivering files, schedules, and supporting documentation based on the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of the information you provide.

All reports, schedules, and documentation prepared by Acrux Advisory require your review and sign-off prior to submission, as they represent your company’s financial information.
